Solta Medical, Inc. has announced its European launch of the Fraxel re:store Dual laser system with the recent CE Mark approval. The new Fraxel re:store Dual system is optimized for both facial procedures and large body areas to address clearance of pigmentation and other skin conditions all in a single treatment. This CE Mark joins the registration obtained in September for Solta Medical’s Thermage CPT, the most advanced non-invasive skin tightening and contouring procedure.

Solta Medical Inc has received approval from the FDA of a new version of its popular Fraxel re:store Dual Laser System to clear pigmentation and other superficial skin conditions. The device with a 1550 nanometer (nm) wavelength already has the regulatory approval for skin resurfacing and treatment of pigmented lesions and certain other skin conditions.
